AUSU and United Way Presents:
Battle of the Bands
Raises $576 to support local United Way Youth Programs.

On Tuesday night, December 1st, 2009, four bands put their musical expertise and inventiveness to the test, to distinguish who would rein supreme in a battle of the bands. With the support of an assembly of 65 people, and a little bit of bravery, they battled on, but only one band emerged victorious.

The winning bands are:

1st Place – Winning $300 cash, $100 to Joey Calzone’s, $25 Case’s Music School, and 4 hours of  studio time
                  – Bring the Fallen
2nd Place
– Winning $200 cash and $50 to Boston Pizza – The Fury
3rd Place  - Winning $100 cash and $25 to Boston Pizza – Red Monkey

A big thank you to Algoma University Student Union, the staff of the Speak Easy Student Center, United Way Youth Empowerment Volunteer, and to everyone who purchased a ticket and attended the event.

Without you there would be no way.
