Residual Interest
A gift of residual interest is a commitment to give property or other valuable assets to the Community Endowment Fund after your death or a specific period of years. You retain the right to use the property while receiving immediate tax credits for the present value of the gift.
Homes and pieces of art are the most common assets given in this way. After your death, the Community Endowment Fund will sell the items and the resulting funds will leave a lasting impact through The Endowment Fund.
