Real Estate
Donating property is one way to use what you already own to make a significant contribution to local communities. There are a number of ways to donate property now or in the future, and each provides different tax benefits and levels of flexibility.
- An outright gift, where the Community Endowment Fund takes ownership of the property today and provides you immediate tax benefits
- A residual interest gift, where the Community Endowment Fund is guaranteed ownership of the property in the future but you maintain use of it today and receive a tax receipt for its current value
- Part of a charitable remainder trust, a pool of your assets that the Community Endowment Fund will receive a portion of upon your death
